Remember the old woman who lived in a shoe? I'm a lot like her, with a husband and varying numbers of children in our 100-year-old farmhouse. This blog is about our lives.

Dresses
I don't always make new dresses for Easter but this year I made matching dresses for Jenny and me.
Beaaauuuutiful! Alli was very envious! She was begging me for a new Easter dress the day before Easter. But, she ended up wearing a turtleneck under her dress since we woke up to snow on Easter morning.
Thanks, all. I got the fabric from my sis Margaret, who is "Holdeman" (Church of God in Christ, Mennonite) and there are several people in their denomination who design and print fabrics for the rest of them. And I think Jenny was playing with her pocket rather than holding something in her hand.
Yes, here is Jenny in a "grown-upish" dress, and missing her teeth! (You can't tell that from the photo, you had to see it in person!) Thought that was so cute! Pauline
yeah thanks mom i like that dress
ReplyDeleteWow! I like the dresses, too! I live on the east coast or I'd be asking where you got the material!:-)

ReplyDeleteEven I had this interest of family wearing dress alike. But myself and my last daughter had a chance.
Even I just purchased boots for both of them from shoedeals4u.com, its really comfortable and the quality is also good.
