Remember the old woman who lived in a shoe? I'm a lot like her, with a husband and varying numbers of children in our 100-year-old farmhouse. This blog is about our lives.

March Letter from Hburg
Today's column mentions a bunch of people. Such as: Matt Arlene Hans Mast Merry Yoder Earl Kropf Merle Burkholder Bethany C. Karen (R.) Emily Abraham McCullough Justin Doutrich Amy Kay K. Emily John Smucker Byran
I read your column every week. I have 5 children, ages 6-17 so I can relate to your life. Your column yesterday about facebook was great. I originally joined facebook to keep an eye on my kids activity (I got the idea from the Stone Soup cartoon). Since then I have been able to communicate with many friends from all over the country. Thank you for a great column, Barbara, Springfield, OR
