Remember the old woman who lived in a shoe? I'm a lot like her, with a husband and varying numbers of children in our 100-year-old farmhouse. This blog is about our lives.

Tea & Trouble in World Magazine
My book just made the Top 10 Self-Published Books list in World magazine.
I wanted to tell this in ALL CAPS but I restrained myself.
That is indeed exciting, Dorcas! Kudos to you! By the way, ALL CAPS would have been fine and "forgivable" in this case. With another success under your belt you must be almost tempted to start that novel. Many people love reading what you write.
Well, since I have the book (signed by you since I won it on Mary Ann Kinsinger's blog), and since I've read your others, I can't say I'm one bit surprised. The stories are told with what I call (because I apparently think I'm an expert), a "relaxed humor". Life isn't perfect but even the unfortunate things that happen never feel like the end of the world, or are depressing, or anything like that. CONGRATS (look, all caps)!! ~ Beth Russo
Congratulations, Dorcas! This definitely calls for a celebratory dinner or cruise or something--soon to made up in new book sales resulting from the World article. :) Cheers!
