Your column is beautiful as always. It makes me yearn for wide open spaces instead of suburbia. And it makes me look forward to my children having grown up conversations with me sometime in the future. I was feeling a little sad that my babies just turned one, but I still can't imagine what it will be like to have the first leave home.
