December column
This one, coming between Thanksgiving and Christmas, is about the relationship between gifts and gratitude. Read it here.
Okay--so why did I get teary-eyed when I read this? It is so convicting and true. Even when we know that things don't buy us happiness, you want to get the best for your children. Investing in their lives is a much more precious gift--even if they don't realize it right now. I needed to be reminded again.
