Sometimes I like to go vanity Googling to see if there are any new reviews of my books out there or links to my blog or other such strokes.
Not sure if this is pride going before a fall or what, but today I found this book review, at least I think that's what it is:

My oldest friend worked at the social security office for many years and had some similar "reviews" of her work, appearance and the state of the world. The writer definitely has good taste in reads no matter how jumbled his/her thinking!

ReplyDeleteI no longer think I speak english...okay, I speak it. I no longer pretend to understand it...
I think I figured it out...I recently downloaded Google translator to help me write to a German friend. It took me about 2 sentences to figure out that even my old rusty German was better than their translator.
ReplyDeleteSo I suspect someone wrote that in another language and allowed some program like the google translator, do the translation, brainlessly, in the air, collected, without mind.... :)
clearly something got lost in translation. LOL From what I can piece together tho.....it seems that what they were trying to say was complimary.
ReplyDeleteOr it could have been a spam-bot that generated words that were statistically relevant, though grammatically and linguistically laughable, to accomplish some sort of SEO or affiliate trick. Did the page link to Amazon with an affiliate link?
ReplyDeleteHans-It might have linked to Amazon--I don't remember. A lot of smaller internet booksellers do, which I don't quite understand.
