Remember the old woman who lived in a shoe? I'm a lot like her, with a husband and varying numbers of children in our 100-year-old farmhouse. This blog is about our lives.
Incredibly boring but I have to give it to you, its safe!
Aint much anyone is going to learn about you all from that snippet. Well accept that Amy knows how to bake using yeast doughs, Paul works at a warehouse, you like cinnamon rolls, you have geraniums, and the weather is sunny!
Its amazing that no matter how little we say we still drop information about ourselves! It may not be interesting but its still info.
hey - please don't resort to that. Even I can write "it was lovely today and I planted most of my annuals." All true. I'm ready to hear about the 3 hour hardware store time with your husband. I love your writing - (a boring bland statement ) but it's true.
I hate to break into your delusions here, but people are definitely going to keep coming to hear what you have to say.
I just read Upstairs the Peasants Are Revolting, can't wait to get my hands on Ordinary Days, and am in the process of recommending your books to everyone I know.
My uncle from Pa called to ask me about this this author my dad was trying to tell him about. I can't remember why they were talking about it except they truly have a family of peasants-ten of them- So even folks who don't know about your writing are interested. We need your brand of information.(not the safe kind)
Safe, Generic and fairly boring. :)
ReplyDeleteeven your safe, generic news make me laugh which reminds me of a safe, generic christmas letter that is a hoot!

ReplyDeletelol....well now that you got "safe" out of your system.....why don't you sit down and type out what you REALLY want to write about.
ReplyDelete=)--I'm afraid "safe" may cause you to lose some of your following. "Real" is so much more interesting
ReplyDeleteDid we scare you? Really, truly, Julie is not a stalker....she is completely sweet and harmless..known her for years!!
ReplyDeletePassive makes for bland.
ReplyDeleteIs what I've heard.
Besides, bromer is the WV this time.
Now to choose my identity.
