January LFH
January's column is a casserole I stirred up from ingredients in a few recent blog posts. It's for all of us who try to manipulate things and make them how they ought to be.
Here it is.
Here it is.
Remember the old woman who lived in a shoe? I don't judge her nearly as harshly as I used to, now that I have a husband and six children. In our 100-year-old farmhouse, we have broth, bread, and lots of Smucker personalities, and this blog is about our lives.

I finally got to reading the column. That was great!
At the end of our complicated lives, I hope we'll look back with the same realization and savor all the good, sweet surprises we couldn't have worked out had we tried!
