Lucinda at Properties of Light asked me to do a guest blog while she's off on a mission project in Canada.
So I did. It's kind of a motherly post, about our choices accumulating into a pile that constitutes our life when we're my age.
You can read it here.
I loved your motherly post. It is the kind of things I find myself saying - already. Glad to know I'm not too far off.
ReplyDeleteTrying to make decisions that will stack up to a good life.

That . Was beautiful .
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post! I identified with so much of it. Amazing how becoming an adult can be enjoyable once you realize it was the baby steps taken all along.

I very much appreciate this essay and I read this aloud to my family of teens/young adults at supper the other night. They would have rolled their eyes around if it had come straight from my mouth so they probably took it better coming from someone else's mom. Thanks for the truth rolled up so nicely amongst the stories.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely wonderful post over at "Properties of Light."
