Remember the old woman who lived in a shoe? I'm a lot like her, with a husband and varying numbers of children in our 100-year-old farmhouse. This blog is about our lives.
Thanks for posting, Jenny. We all appreciate it! Dorcas, I am praying for you...I know it's miserable from having had a similar problem (DeQuervain's tenosynovitis) myself a few years ago.
We're in the same boat, Dorcas. Kinda. I have wrist and elbow braces on my right arm. We think it's tendinitis from some torn fibers, and I am not to bear weight or grip tightly till it heals. Use ice, no typing, no moving a mouse... I'll start obeying those rules this evening (I think!)
Dorcas, I am sorry to hear you have carpal tunnel syndrum. I had it about 12 years ago & had to have surgery on both wrists. I was still working & had to use the computer daily, 5 days a week.
So you take care and rest your hand. Some arthrtis cream may make it feel good. I will be praying for you.
I am so sorry. I am praying for her!
