Remember the old woman who lived in a shoe? I'm a lot like her, with a husband and varying numbers of children in our 100-year-old farmhouse. This blog is about our lives.
Oh Dorcas, how I love your last line! The hope that Spring will eventually come... no wait... the knowledge I should say, is such a perfect thing to be reminded of right now. It sounds like it was a very wise decision to "escape" to your house at a time of needed rest and reflection and love around a big familie's table. Love it.
I included a link to your column on my blog today.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dorcas, for another dose of honesty and wisdom!
Thank you for this beautiful post. I am challenged to accept with joy the pruning God does in my life.
ReplyDeletedWhy do you feel compelled to bring tears to my eyes? The column blesses me again.
