Remember the old woman who lived in a shoe? I'm a lot like her, with a husband and varying numbers of children in our 100-year-old farmhouse. This blog is about our lives.
Today would have been my nephew Leonard's 24th birthday.
Say a little prayer, would you, for all of us--parents and siblings especially, but the grandparents, cousins, friends, uncles, and aunts are having a hard day too.
Talked with Anna briefly this afternoon and i stand in awe of our amazing, caring, loving heavenly Father. He truly has carried them thru this horrible day. Yes, they need our prayers to sustain them. Hugs and love to them, with tears. Geneva
I'm praying right now for you and the family. Oh, how I know the walk of grief. Today I submitted a story about my mom who died three years ago. It still hurts, but it felt good to write the funny parts. I loved reading about you spotting your book in the store. Some day you MUST tell me what that feels like! Hang onto the gift of your beautiful writing.
It's been one of those hot tears all day, kick in the stomach to the harshness of reality kind of days. need I say more?
