The Time Has Come

It has been a delightful journey, but life moves on, I keep getting busier, and it seems like the wisest move is to cut some things out. Including, regretfully, this blog. It has been wonderful getting to know so many of you, and I thank you for your interest and loyalty. Blessings to you all and I hope we meet again someday, somehow, somewhere.

Quote of the Day:
"April fools!"
(You didn't really think I could overcome my addiction to blogging that easily, did you??)

  1. Dorcas! You worried me for a little bit there. You are the only blogger that I read. It is fun going on line and seeing what you have for that day. Some days you have nothing, but I know you will the next time. Thank you for not really stopping.

  3. OMW - I believed you and regretted it didn't work for me to leave a comment yesterdday. I read, give, and recommend your books. I'm subscribed to you.
Just in case you are quitting tomorrow, I wanted to tell you that any mom with family and fame that can still have fun with and blog about her children after having two books published, is a good mom.

(I was tempted to do an April Fool's comment :)

  5. I sat with my mouth open for an instant, wondering "what in the world!" I'm certainly glad you are joking. I enjoy your posts and check almost every day to see if there's a new update. Keep it up! (Connie in WI)

  7. You're sick. Totally sick.
And since your sickness brought me a chuckle, I offer you a few chuckles in return. :)

    Sigh...

  9. You raised my hopes. Then dashed them. I mentally tipped my hat. Then undid the motion.

  12. My heart sank clear down to my shoes, I was slooowly moving down to the quote of the day thinking it was the last one I'd get to read so I should savor it...drat! I'm so gullible I'm glad this day only comes once a year. My poor heart can't take the stress.

  17. The scale of how wrong that was is directly proportionate to the level of sadness with which your fanbase reacts. Well played, but SHEM DICH. Shem dich GOOT for making me feel sad for nothing. :o)

Since I realize this was a low-down and dirty way to ask for comments, let me admit that I hope you are a great-grandma before you decide to throw in the towel.

  20. I'm with Margaret...du bisht veesht! I had another woman do this for real, so I know it's possible. But it leaves a great void in the lives of the fan base! ~ribbit98
