Column: tea

This month's column is about tea.

  1. I love hot tea, and the idea of hot tea...... but I feel exactly like that about my first sip of strong, perfect coffee in the morning, and then I've had my morning's caffeine quota, so I abstain from the tea. Sometimes i'll brew up some herbal, but it's just not that black-tea satisfaction! But y'know what, I DO have some decaf black tea on hand! Going now to make some! -PC in VA

PS- Interesting what moms do for their sick youngsters. My mom always fixed us a cup of Lipton tea and a slice of buttered toast. Raymond's ex-Amish mom gave them hot milk-n-crackers. :)

  2. Same goes for hot chocolate, my idea of the ultimate "comfort beverage", but it remains an idea, because coffee comes first. -PC in VA

  3. I have forwarded the link to this post to a dear friend who would echo your sentiments :) I'm more of a coffee drinker, but I do enjoy a good cup of tea (which I've not yet learned to make yet) and I can always count on a great cup of tea when I visit my friend Katie.
