  1. Thank you for sharing your journey. Today my friend is grieving again the death of her sister's entire family.Four long years ago,and we sit there in church, hit by waves of emotion as we sing.

  3. You don't know me, but I was blessed by your story. You see, I was once overcome with depression and attempted on two occassions to take my life. God intervened and put people in my path to keep me from hurting myself and instead focus on His blessings in my life. Despite many people's opinions that I should be closer to God...I actually honestly can say that I am closer to my Lord than I have ever been. I am so sorry for your loss, but I also took encouragement and took a minute to thank the Lord for protecting me from myself and Satan's darkness. Today, I am happily married and rebuilding relationships with my family. Thank you Jesus, for Your immeasurable grace!

  4. You have made me cry mightily in the past (maybe on Resurrection Sunday?) and again when you wrote about Lenny. Thank you so much for your honesty and the ministry you have to readers of the Register-Guard. My husband and I have been blessed by your words.
